Trax Farms in Finleyville - daily strawberry picking
8 a.m.-noon, depending on weather and fruit availability.
Decisions about opening the fields to pickers are made day-to-day.

Snyder's Berry Farm -Located 6 miles north of Butler, grows 10-acres of raspberries, blackberries, grapes and elderberries, and black, red and yellow raspberries. 
Bring containers for pick-your-own and stop at the porch to get them weighed before you head to the field. Cash Only.
Triple B Farms - Strawberry picking runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. daily in June, weather permitting. Check the status of the field and crop readiness before heading out. Raspberries should be ripe for picking around June 25, followed by blueberries on July 1, peaches in late summer, and apples by September.
Norman’s Orchard - Frazier Township - Call ahead at 724-224-9491. The farm operates on a cash-only basis. June is the month for both sweet cherries and tart cherries, only available for about two weeks. Blueberries run through the end of July. Pears ripen for picking mid-August through September. Many varieties of apples are available at various times from August through October.
Simmons Farms -Strawberries, peaches, apples and pumpkins. Tentative hours are 9 a.m.-noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with evening hours from 5-8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. 
Weekend picking runs from 10 a.m.-noon.

Free hayride to the fields, pick-your-own flowers, and a free petting zoo
Soergel Orchards, Wexford - Picking is from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Once the lots are full, capacity will be reached. You will need to return if parking isn't available. Call ahead.
No outside containers will be allowed.
You will purchase containers on the way in at $4 for a pint and $6 for a quart. 
Social distancing will be encouraged. Masks are required for those who are not vaccinated.

Heirloom tomatoes, ethnic peppers (hot and sweet), specialty eggplants, herbs, greens and more, including organic gardening supplies. We grow thousands of seedlings each year in our licensed basement greenhouse and then harden them off outside in hoop houses made of reused materials. Our urban farm is built on two vacant lots in a very dense and urban part of Pittsburgh. We believe in and support all things local (ecologically and economically).

Eggs, Poultry and Produce. We use organic and sustainable practices on our land-no chemicals or pesticides. 
Our animals do not receive growth hormones or antibiotics.
They are raised humanely, and allowed to live a natural, happy life.
Our laying hens are raised on pasture, and allowed to roam freely every day. They get plenty of green grass, bugs and sunshine. 
The hens lay their eggs in the security of their coops, cozy and stress-free. Eggs are picked and hand washed daily. 
Our Broilers are pasture-raised, and their pens are rotated daily for the best grazing and bug-hunting. We raise Cornish cross and Rangers. Both have excellent flavor.
**We grow heritage breed turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas harvest. They are raised alongside the chickens, in portable pens that allow them to enjoy the bounty of the pastures. Call to reserve.
